Questions? Here are the answers.
The most common questions before the first conversation – answered honestly.
What exactly does an interior architect do?
Far more than choosing décor: space planning, floor-plan optimisation, colour and lighting concepts, the selection of materials and furniture, and coordinating the realisation – all aimed at making a room work and feel right.
How much does an interior architect cost?
That depends on the scope of your project and the work stages involved. You’ll find the exact fee structure in our pricing PDF (German); in the free initial consultation you’ll also get a rough estimate for your specific project.
Do I need to have a clear idea already?
No. Most clients start with a feeling rather than a finished plan. A structured questionnaire and the initial consultation help turn that feeling into a clear concept.
How does the free initial consultation work?
Around 30 minutes, on site or online: we listen, ask targeted questions and give you a first assessment of how your project could be approached – with no obligation and no sales pressure.
Do you also work on single rooms or smaller projects?
Yes. Whether it’s a single bathroom, a bedroom or an entire home – what matters isn’t the size, but that you end up with a coherent concept.
What is the difference between an interior architect and an architecture practice?
Architects usually plan the building itself; interior architects plan the lived-in space within it: the detailed floor plan, materiality, light, colour and furnishing. The two combine very well.
Which regions do you work in?
Our focus is on Karlsruhe and the region; projects further afield are possible by arrangement.
What do I really gain from an interior architect?
Above all, time, confidence and peace of mind: fewer bad buys, less coordination with tradespeople, and in the end a result that fits together instead of looking thrown together.
