How we work
Philosophy
No one-size-fits-all look, no sales pitch. For Saskia Thomas, what counts is the overall effect of a room – and that, in the end, it feels right rather than merely looking good.
One beautiful piece of furniture isn’t enough. Only when floor plan, light, colour and material work as a whole does a room feel truly finished.
Principles
Four convictions that shape every project.
Not an off-the-peg checklist – an attitude you’ll find in every concept.
The whole, not the single piece
Furniture, wall colour, flooring, light and textiles are conceived as one coherent system – not as a collection of beautiful individual pieces.
Honest, not sold to
No sales pressure, no trends for trends’ sake. Advice that listens and tells you honestly what suits you and your everyday life.
Precision in the detail
From the needs-assessment questionnaire to the finishing touches on site – a trained eye spots construction errors before they become expensive.
A personal signature
Every home and every business has its own story. Each concept is developed individually – never as a copy of a ready-made mood board.
Where the inspiration comes from
Between travels, people and the next project.
Ideas are rarely born at a desk alone. Saskia Thomas gathers inspiration on her travels, in good times with friends and family, and in constant dialogue with craftspeople, manufacturers and clients. Her current favourite project is almost always the most recent one – because every new concept takes the experience of the last one and develops it further.
This openness to new ideas, combined with more than ten years of experience and over 100 completed projects, is what makes the difference: rooms that aren’t designed to a formula, but around your life.
