Jewellery, decorations, wrapping paper, greetings cards, accessories and scented candles – this shop in Karlsruhe stocks many small product groups, which also change several times a year with the seasons and occasions. It is exactly this variety that makes a shop concept either lively or cluttered.
Instead of rigid shop fittings, we developed a flexible system of display fixtures that can be adapted for Christmas, Easter or Mother’s Day without any building work. Shelves and counter modules were sized to take both small items and seasonal promotional displays.
The basic structure – customer routes, checkout area, sightlines to the shop window – always stays recognisable and tidy, even when the details of the range change several times a year. This consistent structure was particularly important to the owners.
So the shop stays easy to take in whatever the season – a decisive factor when lots of small products are competing for attention and the sales floor is limited.
